A new direction with deep roots – Anders L. Rasmussen explores the future in heartfelt
new single “10 Years from Now”
Known for his powerful presence in the hard rock outfit Ohmwork, Anders L. Rasmussen now
unveils a more introspective and tender side of his artistry. With “10 Years from Now”, his
latest solo release, Rasmussen steps into the world of singer-songwriter storytelling, blending
it seamlessly with Americana influences and warm acoustic textures.

The song poses a timeless and personal question: What will life look like ten years from
now? Through honest lyrics and a reflective tone, Rasmussen explores themes of change, loss,
hope, and the people who may still be with us—or not—when the future arrives.
“This song came from a place of curiosity and quiet hope,” Rasmussen explains. “I think we
all wonder what lies ahead—who we’ll be, who’ll be there with us, and what dreams will still
live on. ‘10 Years from Now’ is my attempt to capture that uncertainty, but also the beauty of
imagining a future full of meaning and light.”
Musically, “10 Years from Now” trades heavy riffs for stripped-down arrangements, featuring
acoustic guitars, subtle instrumentation, and a production that lets the emotion shine through.
It’s a song for late nights, long drives, and moments of reflection—a reminder that even in
uncertainty, there’s always room for hope.
With this release, Anders L. Rasmussen continues to carve out a space for himself as a solo
artist with depth and versatility, showing that even the heaviest of hearts can carry a gentle
song.
