Stay For Tomorrow are a dynamic, four-piece alternative rock band from Dunfermline, Scotland, formed in 2018. Known for their energetic sound influenced by Biffy Clyro, Foo Fighters, and Velvet Revolver, the line-up includes Joe MacFarlane (vocals/rhythm guitar), Nic Holson (lead guitar), Gemma Wickham (synth-bass/keys), and Sean Priestley (drums).

The band burst onto the Fife music scene in 2019 with Kings and Queens and have since released a series of singles, including Rumours, Prison Living and Non Applicable (Na Na). Their 2023 compilation album, The Story So Far, featured all prior singles, followed by the breakthrough track Always You and the successful Pick Me Up, Crushing Down and Restart, which all gained significant radio play. Their most recent singles Villains and ‘Breathe’ have taken their sound to thrilling new heights. The tracks have gained massive attention, cementing Stay For Tomorrow’s reputation as a rising force in the alt-rock scene.
Stay For Tomorrow have shared stages with acts like Inglorious and Massive Wagons and performed at venues such as King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut and festivals like Bonfest and Winterstorm. Their 2023 music video for Lipstick Lips won Best Music Video at the Lowlands Music Awards, where they were also nominated for Best Rock Act. They have also been nominated for Best Alt-Rock Act at the 2025 Radio Wigwam Awards.
