We were privileged to catch L.A Rockers Babylon Ad on their UK tour this time at The Yardbirds its been a few years certainly for this writer Firefest was the last time we caught these rockers live although a few changes to personnel over the years the essence of the band is still very much rock till you drop and there was no stopping them at the Yardbirds Grimsby although the turnout wasn’t what it should have been although being a Thursday night probably didn’t help, the guys all the way from L.A still gave a solid set from their awesome catalogue inc Hammer Swings Down, Kid Goes Wild, Crash and Burn, Bang Go The Bells, ‘When The World Stops’ from their just released album of the same name.
If you have never seen Babylon AD before you really should make the effort to go to their shows it will be well rewarded and you are guaranteed to leave rocking the night away
On fire from the very first track Babylon AD gave everything and certainly left us fans screaming for more. We have to wait with baited breath for their return next year
