MAMA NO LIKEY REDEFINES FEMININE FURY WITH EXPLOSIVE NEW SINGLE ‘MRS. DAVIS’
A BLOOD-SPATTERED ANTHEM IN THE ERA OF PROGRESSIVE ROCK LOS ANGELES, CA!
Blending fierce rock riffs, sharp wit, and femme fatale energy, Mama No Likey has officially entered the chat—and
they’ve got something to say. Their new single ‘Mrs. Davis’ is a rebellious takedown of gender norms and glossy
housewife tropes, told through the eyes of a woman who finally snaps in style. “It’s about the pressure women face to be
beautiful, quiet, agreeable… and what happens when they stop smiling and start fighting back,” says frontwoman
Hannah Nalley, a Missouri-born singer-songwriter known for her small-town grit, raw lyricism, and contemplative edge.
“It’s satirical, a little unhinged, and it’s inspired by real women I’ve known—including my mom, who once threw a stiletto at my dad so hard it stuck in the drywall. That’s the kind of fire we’re channelling.”
Anchored by booming drums, searing guitar riffs, and Nalley’s sultry vocals, ‘Mrs. Davis’ dares listeners to question what
“feminine” should sound, or look like. The music video, shot in Palm Springs by LA-based director Dan Masso (We’re All
Gonna Die), doubles down on the retro-glam chaos. Think: 1960s housewife noir meets Kill Bill. Trench coats. Cheating
husbands. Murder by Jimmy Choo heel. Estate transfer. Pool boy escape. It’s Pulp Fiction with red lipstick and revenge.
The track started with a filthy riff from their guitarist Troy — the kind of sound that instantly makes you feel like you’re up
to no good. It unlocked a story stemming from a lyric Hannah had been sitting on: “She’s heavily medicated, but damn
she looks good.” That line became the anchor for the song and the character of Mrs. Davis — this exaggerated,
theatrical version of a woman pushed to the edge. Hannah pulled inspiration from all over: badass women that she has
known personally, deranged stories from 80s groupies, even her own mom, who was never afraid of going off the rails.
‘Mrs. Davis’ is part satire, part truth — a portrait of what happens when feminine rage is bottled up for too long… and it
finally explodes. It’s intended to be messy, over-the-top, and powerful — just like the women who inspired it.
WHO IS MAMA NO LIKEY?

Formed by chance at a rehearsal studio in Los Angeles, Mama No Likey is a collaboration between heartfelt musicians with a shared mission: make rock dangerous, relevant, and sexy again.
Mama No Likey is leading a loud, defiant return to feeling. In a world desperate to repackage old systems as progress,
they are channelling resistance through songs that question the status quo. The music is messy, emotional, and
gloriously unfiltered. Their mission? To inspire listeners to embrace their most unruly, authentic selves, to move people, not metrics, and look damn good doing it.
Hannah Nalley (vocals/songwriter): A feminist outlaw with an intellectual bite and Missouri bootstraps, Nalley’s songwriting challenges power structures with humor, rage, and poetic precision.
William Haupricht (drums): Stemming from Detroit, Haupricht blends 90s hip-hop bounce with Red Hot Chili Peppers-
style funk, creating thunderous rhythms that keep a crowd grooving.
Troy Gale (guitar): Coming to L.A. all the way from Australia, Gale’s elegant and uplifting melodies are at the heart of the
band. They’re electric, playful, and just a little bit criminal—like the soundtrack to a glamorous heist.
The trio draws influence from No Doubt, AC/DC, Bikini Kill, and the golden age of MTV —fusing rock, pop, and satire
into a thrilling mix that dares to entertain and provoke.
‘Mrs. Davis’ is OUT NOW!
